Márk holds a Ph.D. at Eötvös Loránd University in Budapest. He worked as a researcher at the Institute of Organic Chemistry of the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, then at the company Ximo, where he participated in the development of novel metathesis catalysts. In his Ph.D. he focused on the NMR spectroscopic research of the structure and dynamics of organocatalysts. He was passionate about teaching from the beginning of his university years and has been actively teaching both university and high school students ever since.
