Just like Doc Brown in Back to the Future, the industry must continuously seek better routes through the drug development process. Sponsors need to be diligent in establishing efficient end-to-end processes in an effort to get drugs to patients faster. Gone are the days of mandatory in-person contact during clinical trials.
