Certara IQ is a QSP software designed to streamline modeling and drug development.
Certara IQ consists of three main components for model interaction: IQ Explore, IQ Design, and IQ Analyze, as well as AI based validation and support. The software provides an intuitive interface for interaction with built in features.
IQ Explore is a simple to use software which allows a user to simulate a QSP model by manipulating drug or patient parameters.
Simulation parameters and conditions are modified through an intuitive table interface and the resulting simulations are displayed on the same screen.
IQ Design is a graphical interface for building and simulating custom QSP models.
Drawing a model diagram through IQ Design encodes the model reactions. With IQ Design, you can be sure that your model and diagram always match.
IQ Analyze is a Python based notebook environment for analysis and simulation of QSP models and also contains a text based model building language designed for QSP.
Besides the built in software and tools, Zertara IQ provides an intuitive way to access AI support.
Certara IQ is built for collaboration. Changes made by any collaborator are automatically tracked so you can be sure that all collaborators are working on the most up to date version of the model and project. IQ Explore, IQ Design, and IQ Analyze can be used on the same QSP model. This facilitates collaboration between users with many different backgrounds while also ensuring the same computational model is being used.

Sasha Shirman, PhD
Associate Principal ModelerSasha Shirman is an Associate Principal Modeler on the Customer Success team at Certara. Her work on the Customer Success team supports users of Certara IQ software by providing training, examples, and direct guidance. Prior to this, Sasha worked as a modeling consultant at Certara, supporting clients by developing model based predictions using Certara’s software.
Sasha received her PhD from the University of California – San Diego in Physics and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Applied Mathematics at Northwestern University. Her research focused on the application of data driven parameter identification methods in biological systems.
