Virna Schuck

Dr. Virna Schuck has over 15 years of experience in Pharmaceutical Development, working across the Discovery and Development phases. Prior to joining Certara, Dr. Schuck held positions of increasing responsibility at Novartis, AstraZeneca, and Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Throughout her professional career, Dr. Schuck’s work focused on understanding the pharmacokinetics of novel compounds and integrating nonclinical and clinical PK/PD data to drive clinical pharmacology strategies and dosing recommendations. She has experience working as a member of multidisciplinary project teams, and also as a project leader in quantitative clinical pharmacology.

Dr. Virna Schuck has a bachelor degree in Pharmacy and Masters in Pharmaceutical Sciences from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul – UFRGS- Brazil, and a PhD in Pharmaceutical Science from the College of Pharmacy, University of Florida.
