Virginie Bolduc

Associate Scientist

Dr. Bolduc has been working in the pharmaceutical and clinical research industry for 8 years. Virginie joined Certara in October 2016 as an Associate Scientist supporting the PK and PK/PD analyses of data from clinical studies in early drug development, data interpretation, and reporting. Prior to joining Certara, Virginie was a PK Scientist at Celerion in Montreal, where she was involved in clinical studies performing NCA PK and PD analyses and protocol, statistical analysis plan, and report writing. Before that, Virginie worked as a Non-clinical Studies Manager at Servier in Paris where she was involved in the cardiovascular development of an anti-interleukin monoclonal antibody with the potential of treating a wide variety of inflammatory diseases. Her role was to lead multiple pharmacological preclinical studies in collaboration with academic laboratories and CRO to establish a thorough animal proof-of-concept that supported the clinical strategy.

Dr. Bolduc obtained her PhD from the Université de Montreal, Department of Pharmacology in 2012. During her graduate training at Montreal Heart Institute, Virginie showed the protective effects of heart rate-reduction with a pacemaker current inhibitor on the reactivity and structure of cerebral arteries in atherosclerotic mice. As a result of her doctoral studies, Dr. Bolduc has authored or co-authored more than 10 peer-reviewed publications and had numerous opportunities to present her work at national and international meetings.
