Swati Jaiswal, PhD is a Principal PBPK Consultant at Certara Predictive Technologies, where she leads and supports high-impact consulting projects, partnering with pharmaceutical companies to provide model-informed drug/formulation development (MIDD/ MIFD), clinical pharmacology and regulatory strategy support. She specializes in applying PBPK modeling for First-in-Human predictions, drug-drug interaction assessments and biopharmaceutics applications including food and acid reducing agents effect predictions, PK predictions for enabling and modified release formulations and virtual bioequivalence simulations to support regulatory submissions and biowaivers. She is a trusted partner for pharmaceutical clients and is passionate about helping them navigate complex drug and formulation development challenges through tailored PBPK modeling solutions.

With over nine years of industry experience across drug discovery and development, Swati has applied modeling and simulation approaches to support innovative and generic drug products from early research through regulatory submission. Prior to joining Certara in 2021, she held modeling and simulation roles at Dr. Reddy’s Laboratories and the Biocon-Bristol Myers Squibb Research Centre (BBRC), where she contributed to drug discovery and development programs across multiple therapeutic areas.

Swati holds an M. Pharm in Pharmaceutics from IIT-BHU, India and a PhD in Drug Metabolism & Pharmacokinetics from the CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute, India. A prolific contributor to the field, she is author or co-author of 31 peer-reviewed publications and one book chapter.
