Kevin Romer

Vice President, Sales

Kevin Romer joined Certara in 2021, and has 20 years of experience in pre-clinical and clinical drug development with emphasis on rare and neurological diseases. Kevin’s current role is leading the sales and new business efforts for products and services across the Simcyp Business unit. Prior to joining Certara, Kevin established a consulting company to work with biotech clients to support drug development. Kevin is also President and Co-Founder of The Mathew Forbes Romer Foundation, established in 1998, in honor and memory of his affected child. In parallel, he had tenures as President of the National Tay-Sachs and Allied Diseases Assocation, (founded in 1957), and the Founding Chair of its International Research Initiative commencing in 2002.

In parallel with that he has held many leadership roles including Engineering, Research and Development, Product Management, and Business Development organizations with several Fortune 500 technology product and services companies.

Kevin was awarded an MBA from Loyola University and BSE from Duke University.
