Senior Application Scientist
Originally working in a Phase I CRO as a Clinical Technician, Data Manager and then Pharmacokineticists, Simon has spent the last 25+ years supporting and training Scientists on PK tools, WinNonlin IVIVC and NLME.
He helps them in improving their use of the tools to have more efficient workflows including working with related repositories owned by other parts of the organization.

Dr. Sung-yoon Yang earned his Ph.D. in Pharmacy from Chungnam National University, where he specialized in Pharmacometrics and Pharmacokinetics. His research interests include Population PK/PD Modeling, Physiologically Based Pharmacokinetic (PBPK) Modeling, and PK/PD analysis. He has led multiple research projects and authored several publications in these fields.
He is currently with T&J TECH, where he provides technical support and professional training for Certara’s PK/PD software platforms, including Phoenix WinNonlin, Phoenix NLME, Phoenix IVIVC Toolkit, and Pirana.
Assistant Manager / Software Division, BITEK CHEMS inc.
KyeongSeok Hong graduated from Hanyang University with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering and joined BITEK CHEMS inc. in 2012. He currently oversees research support solutions within the Software Division.
Since joining the company, he has worked as an Electronic Lab Notebook (ELN) engineer, providing customized consulting, user training, and technical support tailored to various clients’ research environments.
As an official partner of Certara, he is also in charge of technical support and regular training for specialized areas, including Phoenix Platform–based PK parameter analysis, simulation, NLME, and the IVIVC Toolkit.
Scientist, Clinical Pharmacology and Translational Medicine, Certara Drug Development Solutions
Jihyun Jeon, PhD, has over 5 years of experience in pharmacometrics and model-informed drug development. She is currently a Scientist in Clinical Pharmacology, Certara Drug Development Solutions group, where she supports clinical pharmacology and translational modeling projects.
She previously worked at Hanmi Pharmaceutical and later contributed as a consultant with Certara’s Korea team, supporting client-facing modeling and simulation activities and training initiatives. Her expertise includes population PK and exposure response modeling for early phase clinical trial, PBPK modeling for drug–drug interaction prediction, model-based meta-analysis, translational PK modeling for first-in-human dose selection.
