Summary

Many compound registration systems have not kept pace with modern discovery. As teams generate larger libraries and integrate AI workflows, legacy platforms struggle to scale and enforce consistent standards.

When molecular representation varies across systems, the impact reaches far beyond registration. Assays, modelling workflows, reporting, and strategic decisions all depend on accurate, normalized compound data. Duplicate and inconsistent records slow programs and introduce unnecessary risk.

In this session, we identify the structural gaps that limit older systems, explain why they matter in today’s R&D landscape, and define what enterprise-ready registration requires. We then demonstrate how Certara’s Compound Registration meets these demands in practice.

Reserve your seat and evaluate whether your current registration system supports or limits your innovation.

Speakers:

Jan Christopherson

Senior Solutions Consultant

Jan Christopherson is a Senior Solutions Consultant working in Certara’s Discovery Portfolio. Following a stint at Mettler Toledo focused on laboratory instrument software interfacing and 21CFR compliant validation, he joined Chemaxon – acquired by Certara in 2025 – in 2019, where he has since supported customers through the full application portfolio and lifecycle.

József Kozma

Associate Product Manager, Certara

József is an Associate Product Manager for Chemaxon Compound Registration system. He holds a PhD in chemistry, earned after graduating as a Pharmaceutical Engineer and conducting research on wearable electrochemical sensors. József joined Chemaxon in 2023 as an Application Scientist before moving into the role of Product Owner for the Representation and IO team, where he developed extensive expertise in cheminformatics.

Using Chemaxon’s suite of tools as core components of our chemistry workflows, they save us time while supporting strong, science-driven decisions. What sets them apart is that their team is professional, approachable, and genuinely invested in helping us succeed.
