This presentation was given by Daniel Weiner, Ph.D., Senior Vice President and General Manager, Certara, at the Global Discovery & Development Innovation Summit (GDDIS) in November, 2011. Dr. Weiner discussed the business case for model based drug development and how translational science fits into the picture. Additionally, focus on criteria for a successful informatics infrastructure, implementation issues and conclusions were addressed.
