Simcyp Population-based Simulator

The Simcyp Population-based Simulator streamlines drug development through the modelling and simulation of pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics in virtual humans and laboratory animals.  The Simulator is the industry’s most sophisticated platform for the prediction of drug-drug interactions and pharmacokinetic outcomes in clinical populations.

The Simcyp Simulator links in vitro data to in vivo ADME and PK/PD outcomes to help explore potential clinical complexities prior to human studies and support decision-making in drug development. Simulations incorporate physiological, genetic and epidemiological information in relevant populations; by integrating this information with your drug specific in vitro or clinical data, the Simulator allows you to predict PK/PD behaviour in ‘real-world’ populations accounting for differences in ethnicity and disease state as well as assessing the variability in healthy volunteers usually represented in early clinical trials.
